3 August 2012

On the evening of Friday 3rd August Liverpool Quaker Meeting House hosted the third annual Spectrum of Spirituality interfaith event, marking the start of Liverpool Pride.

The theme of Liverpool Pride this year was “Nautical but Nice”, so SoS took that up, introducing into their worship a water communion, messages in a bottle and sea shells.
The LGBT choir provided the music, which also included a nautical element.

The event included a tremendous art exhibition from a range of artists and photographers as well as the SoS art workshop, run by community artist Richard Popplewell

The meal afterwards was superb, as ever, with the amazing (and rapidly becoming traditional to the event) cup cakes.
